Dilwara Temples
Dilwara Temples is the epitome of architectural beauty and are world famous. Their intricate carvings are beautiful beyond words. Built in white marble, their history dates back to the 11th to 13th century. These temples are a pilgrimage site of Jains and are dedicated to Jain Tirthankaras. Among all the temples the most famous ones are Vimal Vasahi Temple, Luna Vasahi, Pittalhar Temple, Parshvanatha Temple and Mahaveer Swami Temple.
Gaumukh Temple
This Hindu temple is the place where the revered sage Vashistha performed a yagna. The temple was named after the natural spring here that flows through the mouth of a sculpted cow. It is believed that the water of this spring possess medicinal properties.
Nakki Lake
Holding religious significance, this lake is believed to be dug up by the gods with their fingernails. Raghunath temple near the lake dates back to the 14th century. It is surrounded by hills, gardens and weird rock formations.
