Lakshmi Narayan temple
At the foot of Vaibhava Hill about 2 km south of the town is Lakshmi Narayan temple. The temple is dedicated to Hindu god and goddess. The temple is also famous for the natural hot water springs coming through the spout from Saptdhara. The hot spring is also known as ‘Brahmakund’.
Vishwa Shanti Stupa
Situated on the top of the hill Ratnagiri stands 40 m high Stupa. The Stupa houses four gold statues representing Buddha's birth, enlightenment, teaching and death. To reach the top of this hill one has to go through the ropeways. This place is also called the ‘GridhaKuta’.
Cyclopean Wall
Found particularly at the exit of Rajgir to Gaya, there was a 40 m high wall surrounding Rajgir. The wall is one of the few important Pre-Maurayan stone structures to have been found today.

Nalanada University
Established in the 5th century, the university was considered to be the first ever residential study centre. The university had 2000 teachers over 10000 students. The university was also famous for its big library. Built in Kushana style of architecture the ruins of the ancient university include stupas, ornamented panels, lecture halls and stairway.
Hieun Tsang Memorial Hall
It was built in the memory of known Chinese Scholar and traveller, Hiuen Tsang. The hall houses writings of Hieun Tsang providing information about ancient India. The architecture of the hall offers a glimpse of Nalanda University.
Surajpur Baragaon
Dedicated to Sun god, the temple houses a 5 feet high idol of Goddess Parvati. The temple also comprises of many idols of Hindu god and goddess with Buddhist deities.
